In our music video we will aim to apply the Horton and Wohl theory of 1956. This theory suggests we have to know what the fans want in order to provide entertainment for them. In order to accomplish this, we must research the fans of our genre (indie rock). We have researched around the genre and have interviewed indie rock fans, by doing so we feel as though we have gathered enough information to be able to entertain and provide for the audience.
We aim to create a parasocial interaction with the audience. This implies we will know a lot about the audience, and we will be able to provide the entertainment they want.
