The company produce mainly indie rock music, the record label has many set ups through out the world in places such as Brooklyn, USA, Germany and France. As the company is independent this is perfect for the Artic Monkeys as they are an indie band which have derived from independence. The Artic monkeys also have record label called EMI, which also based in London, this record label along with the bands US distributors 'Warner' contradicts the typical charateristics of an Indie band, as these record labels are more mainstream.
