Location Ideas

After analysing the lyrics of our song- 'Call me up' I have been able to think of location ideas for our music video. Through-out our song, images of emptiness and abandenment are potrayed.

I like the idea of featuring a warehouse in our video. An empty warehouse can imply a sense of abandenment, this image created would reflect our song.

If we chose to use a warehouse we would have to look into the safety of the building and would have to ask permission to use the building. However I think the warehouse would be an ideal place to film our video as it has such an lost and loneliness feeling, which reflects our song.

Our song features a piano, I think having the master shot of the video being the artist on a piano singing passionately would be effective. As it would be the master shot it means in the video it would keep cross cutting back to this shot of the artist playing the piano. 

I think we would be able to potray an authentic image of an artist playing the piano as we have two piano players in our group, it would be utilised effectively.

Another place that we could use that would emphasise the image of abandonment would be a building site, I think a building site would be a good place to film elements of our video as it implies the narratives characters life is a mess without the girl and he has all alone.
