This is the digipak advert for the Foo Fighters. The Foo fighters logo is clearly presented on the front of the advert. This make its easy for the audience to notice the band whilst flicking through the magazine. The advert is very simple yet effective, there is a lack of colours and wording, which makes it short and snappy for the audience to read. The lay out of the advert is very samey to others, i.e having the logo and title of the band at the top and the more detailed writing at the bottom. The advert does not have an image of the band on it, this may be because it is not the bands first albumn and they are already well known, so there image does not need to be presented. They may also want to draw the attention of the bands image away from the audience and may want the audience to concentrate on their music. The advert also includes an insight to songs within the digipak, this is beneficial to potential buyers as they are able to know some of the songs featured before actually purchasing it. At the bottom of the advert there is some legal writing that has been cut off, I have looked at other adverts and they always represent the companies that have signed and distribute the band. I think we should include the logos of the companies that sign and distribute our digipak as it would add to the authencity of our product.
